THE AEROSWISH EARPHONES
Earphones that are designed specifically for athletes or ‘fitness fanatics’ whose daily lifestyle revolves around sport, training and staying active.
Aeroswish has been designed to have flexible ear hooks that allow for the earphones to stay comfortably and securely in place during an intense workout or run. The unique shape is ergonomically molded to fit the ear making it a more comfortable fit.
COLOUR

A colour that strongly reflects the end user’s active lifestyle and youthfulness. It is often associated with high energy levels, dynamism, enthusiasm, and vitality. It can evoke feelings of excitement, motivation, and a zest for life.

To capture the vibrant nature of these earphones, the earphones uses dual tone colours to create subtle contrast between material finishes and label accents whilst maintaining a unified look with its colour scheme.

The earphone series will come in a range of colours. As well as the standard black and white, it will included bold bright colours such as blue, green, purple and of course orange.
MATERIAL

ABS will be used for the main parts of the product. It is a strong durable polymer, and is accessible and a cheaper material compared to other thermoplastics in the market.

Silicone will be used for the hook and earbud. It is non toxic, soft, has flexibility properties whilst holding its shape well and long-lasting. It is also highly water repellent, perfect for sweating in. Additionally, silicone earbuds are cheaper and easier to maintain than foam tip earbuds.

All other parts will be outsourced or created via other methods. These include circuit board, batteries and sensors etc.
FINISH

As the end user will be actively touching and using the earphone, the main body of the earphone will have a smooth matte finish to reduce sweat marks that form around the ear.

The centre insert will be of a glossy ABS to emphasis the touch control sensor area and feature the brand logo.

The silicone ear hook will also be of a satin finish to blend in with the main body parts.

As the main body, internal casing and ear hook will be made of ABS plastic, these parts can be easily produced via two part injection molding. Rather than 3D printing the parts, injection molding the parts will be faster, cheaper in the long run and can be produced at a mass volume suitable for the chosen persona market. Injection molding will allow for the mold tech finishes to be applied during the molding process. All other parts will be outsourced or created via other methods.
